Napkin tissue paper jumbo reels: a buying guide
Updated 28 Sep 2026 · Gowtham Trading Company, Madurai
Paper napkin and tissue makers buy jumbo reels by weight. Before you order, decide three things: the GSM, the brand and the reel width your machine takes.
| Brand | GSM | Type | Widths in stock |
|---|---|---|---|
| TNPL | 15 GSM | Soft napkin tissue | 25, 26, 27, 29 cm |
| GT | 15 GSM | Soft napkin tissue | 25, 26, 27, 29 cm |
| GVG | 17 GSM | MG (machine-glazed) tissue | 26, 27, 29 cm |
15 GSM soft tissue or 17 GSM MG tissue?
- 15 GSM soft tissue (TNPL, GT) — soft and absorbent, the usual choice for table and restaurant napkins.
- 17 GSM MG tissue (GVG) — slightly heavier, with one smooth glazed side; stronger for napkins and light wrapping.
